Hello,
it does us terribly sorry that so much time has already elapsed since the last entry. As the family has paid Pearce last month over $ 1,000 for the Internet, you've decided to turn off the Internet. And since our van was broken so there were few opportunities time to come to town to get to the Internet.
Since the last entry is being done. We have set the porch done
and the van repaired. 
This has, however, is more difficult than expected. Our host father gave us the a diesel mechanic (aka "Stan the Man") made famous. This was unfortunately too much to do to us to repair the car completely. But he still wanted to help as best we could. So we have built at home with the family Pearce own workshop. First of all have begun to expand the cylinder head. That we have brought to Stan. Diagnosis: cracks in the cylinder head. So we needed a new engine. Stan has once again turned on and we used a new engine concerned. But since he still had no time to have lent his crane with us a few tips given on the road. It was not easy but in the end we have really done it then. For the last Fine-tuning the car but we have again brought to Stan and he has checked everything again. And because we got along so well with him he invited us on the weekend on a fishing trip. The first fish have had to wait because of his expertise, but also not far behind :-) It was the first trout we caught in New Zealand and so have another highlight of our trip. we have a boat, and fished in about 30 meters deep fly in three series (1m distance) and then tied up and down plucked. The next day was therefore inevitable .. the whole crap again ummontieren and all over again. however, the feeling of riding in a car has changed his heart to itself is just great!
Actually we wanted to be even further down, but the host mother is sadly come to the hospital. She had 16 years ago, a liver transplant. As far as I have understood correctly, the drugs apparent the lymphatic system have been damaged in one leg. This becomes swollen leg and often inflamed. She was in the past 5 weeks now 2 times in the hospital because of it. The host father asked us to stay until she is back from the hospital. This favor, of course we want him to do and we like to stay a few days.
is now finally released Dirk join us to us a few weeks to travel and enjoy life.
course it is not in here so that's nothing compared to other experiences, but nothing to write .. The photos show so what else have we done yet .. were at a horse show with the girls. then they are swimming with the horses in a lake have been .. 
pretty awesome that it's so easy here. Although New Zealand is in many ways quite conservative and strict, but very liberal when it comes to freizeitgestalltungen ... what a natural as the local is really necessary ..
otherwise we were shooting at night possum 
and occasional fly fishing, but so far except for a big catch, as you can see images on the fairly unsuccessful in fishing. 
but this will change soon .. should!

oh yeah, Alex and I have applied for jobs at the university of canterbury. We should be adopted as could be our plans for the next few months Change abruptly.
